Gary Charles "Guido" Giovannetti
3 Feb 1947 - 04 Sep 2011
64 Years Old

February 3, 1947 - September 4, 2011

On September 4, 2011, Gary Giovannetti passed away with his loving wife, Lynette, at his side. Guido fought a tough and hard battle with leukemia since February.

Guido had a long career as an electrical engineer. He retired 3 yrs after having his dream come true of living at Lake Davis.

"Captain Guido" as he was known, loved fishing and sitting outside by a fire gazing at the stars. He loved being surrounded by his many, many friends and was always ready for a bbq . He loved going on cruises with his wife, driving his classic car, playing pool and just enjoying life. He loved his dogs, Bruno and Bandit, who are so lost without him.

Guido was a proud father and grandfather. His grand daughter, Scarlet, was born in March and was the apple of his eye. Scarlet gave her grandpa the strength to keep fighting his cancer.

Guido touched many peoples lives in so many different ways; he will be missed.Gary Giovannetti

Guido is survived by his loving wife, Lynette, son Ken (Olive), grand daughter Scarlet and son Sage. Brother in laws, Randy Weaver and Wayne Weaver. Niece, Kelly Weaver and nephew, Chris Weaver.

We have many good friends who helped us through his battle with cancer. Words can never express the kindness and appreciation. Special thanks to Alan Gross and Rod Thomas who were always at our side.

Thank you to the wonderful 3rd floor oncology nurses and staff at St. Mary's Hospital, Drs. Schiff and Shields, and St. Mary's Hospice.

At his request, there will be no service. Guido wanted people to get together and have fun....
