Stephen S. Boardman passed away on October 31st, 2005.

He was born in Oakland, California, on July 16th, 1946, to Leroy and Martha Boardman. He proudly served six years in the United States Marine Corps, including two tours in Vietnam, and spent the last thirty years working in the automobile industry.

Steve is survived by his wife, Kathleen Williamson-Boardman of Eureka; and by his three daughters, Mychele Boardman and her husband Chuck Gandy of Winter Park, Florida, Stephanie Burns and her husband Brian of Soldotna, Alaska, and Nicole Harrison of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two sons, Robert Williamson and his wife Lisa of La Crosse, Wisconsin, and Rian Williamson and his wife Jeannette of Eureka. His eight grandchildren were the lights of his life; they are Sophia of Winter Park, Madeline and Abigail of Minneapolis, Zachary, Cheyanne and Mariah of La Crosse, Mikala and Malakai of Eureka. He also leaves behind four brothers, Arthur, Paul, Robert, and Richard and their families.

A private celebration of his life will be held by his family.

He was well loved and will be sadly missed by all of us. If anyone should ask, just tell them that Steve has gone fishing.
